My Story
Early Life
Growing up in Toronto's notorious Regent Park, Charles Jackson harbored dreams of becoming both a professional hockey player and a successful entrepreneur. His entrepreneurial journey began at the tender age of 10 when he started his first “business” by delivering newspapers to the local community.
At just 12 years old, he ventured into selling ice cream, cleverly taking advantage of hot summer days and local foot traffic. Not one to shy away from opportunity, Charles expanded his entrepreneurial horizons by selling flowers—brightening the day of passersby—and eventually launched a shoeshine business with a few friends from the neighborhood, providing a much-needed service while gaining invaluable experience.
Career
By the age of 17, Charles partnered with a close friend to establish a mobile dry cleaning business, a venture that not only honed his business acumen but also solidified his belief in the power of entrepreneurship as a means to escape poverty and achieve financial freedom. This early foundation of diverse experiences fueled his passion for entrepreneurship, setting the stage for a lifelong commitment to helping others realize their potential and follow their dreams
Charles Jackson is a highly respected designer, entrepreneur, and mentor renowned for his dedication to empowering individuals, businesses, and organizations to achieve rapid and sustainable success. With a heartfelt passion for inspiring young aspiring entrepreneurs, Charles encourages them to pursue their dreams relentlessly. After studying Fashion Design and Merchandising at the International School of Design in 1993, he launched his own design studio in the vibrant east end of downtown Toronto.
